There is one man who stands beards and mustaches above the rest when it comes to the plight of the bearded man. Keith Flett, founder of the Beard Liberation Front, has taken on the hairy task of fighting beard discrimination wherever it may occur.
His campaigns have included calling for a boycott of the Harry Potter films for the obvious fake whiskers, expressing outrage when Sean Connery was denied Knighthood, and supporting bearded candidates for political office.
Mr. Flett, I salute you!
PS Mr. Flett cleary has excellent taste in music as well as his 2007 Beard of the Year winner was Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.
