I like when the extra microphones they employ for the post-season TV coverage pick up opposing players shooting the shit in Spanish while standing out at 2nd Base. Baseball may be an American invention, and was once widely seen as the American Pastime, but it’s a global game now. Latin players from Cuba, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic make up a sizable slice of the best baseball players in the world.
