The investigation that brought us 34 indictments and lots of guilty pleas by Trumpinistas finally dropped, and wouldn’t you know it, no evidence of cozying up with the Russians. Just off the top of my head:
- Russian operatives execute massive disinformation campaign to influence US election.
- Trumpeters meet with Russian operatives in his office for dirt on the opposition.
- Trumpeters email with Russian operatives and Wikileaks for copies of hacked emails from the opposition’s team.
- Trump publicly asks Russian operatives to look for opposition emails.
- Trump met Russian operatives in The Oval Office to tell them he fired the head of the FBI to get the Russia thing off his back.
Apparently this is not conspiring with a foreign power, so the noose around Trump’s neck has been removed. We will all be subjected to years of him bloviating about his innocence and the bogus attempts at defaming his otherwise pristine reputation. The House of Representatives now risks looking like a political hit squad if they aggressively investigate the innocent President.
The Democratic Party better bring a top shelf candidate in 2020 or we’re looking at 4 more years of incompetent, deceitful douchebaggery.
